Priyanka Chopra unprofessional for leaving Bharat, says producer as Salman Khan searches replacement |
Priyanka and Nick reportedly got engaged a week ago on her birthday. Zafar sent out a tweet on Friday that Priyanka will no longer be a part of his new film due to a ‘very very special’ reason. “Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ... Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life,” he had written.
Now, Nikhil Namit, CEO, Reel Life Productions, has told Mid-Day that he is unhappy with Priyanka’s decision to quit the film on such short notice. “Priyanka told us she had to exit due to her engagement, two days ago. It was a little unprofessional of her to do it so suddenly,” he told the daily.
The report also suggests that the film’s lead star, Salman Khan is now in hyperdrive to find Priyanka’s replacement for the film and that Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez seem to be the most likely choices. Katrina has previously worked with Salman in Tiger Zinda Hai, Ek Tha Tiger, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kia, while Jacqueline has worked with him in Kick and Race 3.
