मुंबई कांग्रेस ने नई दिल्ली में संविधान की एक प्रतिलिपि के खिलाफ सोमवार को एक विरोध प्रदर्शन किया और मांग की कि इस अधिनियम के लिए जिम्मेदार लोगों को राजद्रोह के लिए बुक किया जाए।

एससी / एसटी (अत्याचार रोकथाम) अधिनियम में संशोधन के विरोध में दिल्ली पुलिस ने शनिवार को 40 वर्षीय व्यक्ति को संविधान की एक प्रति जलाने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया था।

मुंबई कांग्रेस के नेताओं और श्रमिकों ने यहां दादर रेलवे स्टेशन के बाहर एक विरोध प्रदर्शन किया और उन्होंने घटना की निंदा की, जिसे उन्होंने संविधान और इसके मुख्य वास्तुकार बी आर अम्बेडकर का अपमान किया।

टीमों ने दिल्ली, हरियाणा और उत्तर प्रदेश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में संदिग्धों के घरों पर हमला किया लेकिन वे फरार पाए गए। इसके बाद, पुलिस ने फरीदाबाद से गौर को पकड़ लिया।

पूछताछ के दौरान, उन्होंने खुलासा किया कि उन्होंने और शुक्ला ने एससी / एसटी अधिनियम में संशोधन के खिलाफ सरकार का ध्यान आकर्षित करने के इरादे से संविधान की प्रति जलाए जाने की साजिश रची थी। संशोधनों ने अधिनियम के प्रमुख प्रावधानों को बहाल किया जो मार्च में सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा "पतला" थे।

संसद मार्ग पर गुरुवार को आयोजित एक विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान भारतीय संविधान की कॉपी जलाने और संविधान निर्माता डॉ. भीमराव आंबेडकर और जाति विशेष के खिलाफ नारेबाजी करने के मामले में दर्ज केस में पुलिस ने एक आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।

डीसीपी (नई दिल्ली) मधुर वर्मा ने रविवार को इस बारे में जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि इस केस में हरियाणा के बल्लभगढ़ के रहने वाले दीपक गौर (40) को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। डीसीपी का कहना है कि यही इस केस का मुख्य आरोपी भी था। अखिल भारतीय भीम सेना ने इस बारे में संसद मार्ग थाने में एक शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी, जिसके आधार पर शुक्रवार को पुलिस ने आईपीसी की धारा 153(A), 505, 120-B और 34 के अलावा राष्ट्रीय गरिमा को अपमानित करने की धाराओं के तहत केस दर्ज किया था। 

डीसीपी के मुताबिक, इस मामले की जांच के दौरान यह बात सामने आई कि 9 अगस्त को दो अलग-अलग संस्थाएं यूथ फॉर इक्वैलिटी फाउंडेशन (आजाद सेना) और आरक्षण विरोधी पार्टी संयुक्त रूप से संसद मार्ग पर विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहीं थीं। आरक्षण विरोधी पार्टी के लोग दीपक गौड़ के नेतृत्व में विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहे थे, जबकि यूथ फॉर इक्वैलिटी फाउंडेशन के समर्थक अभिषेक शुक्ला के नेतृत्व में प्रोटेस्ट कर रहे थे। सबूत जुटाने के बाद पुलिस की तीन टीमें दीपक की तलाश में लगाई गईं, जिन्होंने दिल्ली, यूपी और हरियाणा में कई जगहों पर रेड डाली। दीपक अपने घर से भी गायब था। पुलिस ने एक गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर फरीदाबाद के पास बल्लभगढ़ इलाके में रेड डालकर उसे गिरफ्तार किया। 

डीसीपी के मुताबिक, पूछताछ में दीपक ने बताया कि उसने और अभिषेक शुक्ला ने मिलकर संविधान की प्रति जलाने का फैसला किया था, ताकि एसएसी/एसटी एक्ट में संशोधन के खिलाफ उनकी आवाज सरकार तक पहुंच सके और वे सरकार का ध्यान इस तरफ आकर्षित कर सकें। इसके अलावा उन्हें यह भी लग रहा था कि ऐसा करके वे सनसनी फैला देंगे। उन्होंने संविधान की प्रति जलाने और डॉ. आंबेडकर और भारतीय संविधान के खिलाफ नारेबाजी करने का षडयंत्र रचा था। कार्यक्रम के बाद उन्होंने न केवल प्रेस नोट जारी किया, बल्कि सोशल मीडिया के माध्यम से उस घटना के विडियो को वायरल करने की कोशिश की।
